Grab-N-Go Green Smoothie

Most everyone is in a rush now days. Not me.... but I will be in a few weeks once I start collage full time and possibly a part time job. So I tested out this Grab-N-Go Green Smoothie idea I had. And I have to say I like it! Go me... although I am sure I was not the first to try this.. haha..

Here goes....

On sunday I prep basically everything. Add my fruit (this week I choose blueberries and raspberries.) Pack in my kale and spinach. Note: make sure your leafy greens are dry!

Next I add my toppings. Chia, flax, and hemp seeds. Bee pollen and goji berries.

Lastly place in the freezer. I make 5 days worth at a time. (Sometimes less if I don't have enough greens.)

In the morning when I wake up I grab a jar out of the freezer. Go get ready to let it defrost a bit. When I have my face on and dressed; its time to dump everything in the blender. I add some wheatgrass, mint leaves, spirulina and maca powder. Add 1 cup water. (more or less depending how thick you like it) Sometimes I will add either some light agave nectar, cacao powder, 1/2 banana or apple, all natural nut butter or Braggs apple cider vinegar.

Blend, blend and blend some more until you reach the consistency you want. Pour back into the jar and you are out the door!!

Now you have a Grab-N-Go Healthy green smoothie!! The best part about it is you can cater it to your own taste. ENJOY!!
