Local Cafe // Happy Thought Coffee

A few days ago while checking out some antique stores in the town of Chillicothe, IL I passed by a cute coffee shop. I wished I would have stopped in but time did not allow. Today I made a point to go in and so glad I did. Happy Thought Coffee, established in 1998 is located downtown inside a historic bank building built in 1868. I love finding quaint coffee shops like this in small towns. Makes me think of my home state Cali. I had a latte and blueberry crumb muffin. Quite delish I must say. I only had my iPhone with me so the pictures are not the best quality.

Small Town // Lacon, IL (population 1900)

Welcome to the small quaint town of Lacon, IL. This has been my temporary home for the past month between moving. Population is about 1900. Two stoplights, one small grocery store, ice-cream shop, and a coffee place. I love the coffee shop!! So cute, and locally owned. I am a big fan of supporting small businesses. The town also has some small restaurants and some little resale shops. Oh lets not forget all the corn fields IL has! Being an amateur at taking photos and dreaming of being a great photographer I have to start someplace. So here is my first practice of shooting. Hope you enjoy and feel free to leave any comments! Stressed, Depressed, But Well Dressed

I just recently got this shirt while I was in Vegas. At first I was not found of the color but it grew on me and is now one of my favorite shirts.
